Rob Kirkby,

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

As Energy Advantage's founding President and now Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Rob has used his passion and complete dedication to assemble a first class team of experts in a broad range of energy, environmental and business disciplines to offer a uniquely independent total energy management service to major clients across North America.

In 1987, prior to forming Energy Advantage, Rob founded the largest independent natural gas management company in Canada, which he led until 1995. Earlier, as a Division Chief with the National Energy Board of Canada, he developed pivotal NEB positions leading to major policy changes including deregulation of the domestic natural gas market.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (honours) and a Masters in Economics from the University of Calgary. He has authored many energy industry articles and publications, spoken at numerous energy industry conferences, and testified frequently as an expert witness before provincial and federal energy regulatory tribunals.

Christopher Ridabock,

President & Chief Operating Officer

Chris Ridabock is responsible for Energy Advantage’s overall North American business performance, operations and customer and market relationships in Canada, USA and Mexico. Chris brings a wealth of operational leadership experience to this role across a number of business sectors including over 35 years of successful executive leadership working within the North American Corporate Real Estate industry. His broad industry knowledge, experience and most importantly trusted reputation within the broader North American business community is invaluable to the Company’s growth strategy.

Bob MacBean,

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Bob is a highly experienced senior financial executive with operating and Board experience in both the U.S. and Canada. At Energy Advantage he is responsible for all finance, accounting, human resource, governance, and the strategic and operational planning process.

Prior to joining Energy Advantage he was the Chief Financial Officer of Selient Inc. for almost five years. Selient delivers sophisticated SaaS offerings to the financial services sector and controlled about 25% of the market in the Credit Union sector. Selient was publicly traded on the TSXV until its recent sale to Aegon NV. Before Selient, Bob was a founding partner of Corporate Partners International Inc., provider of interim management and access to capital to companies in transition. During this time he helped start and then run an alternative energy company and an environmental products company. From 1985 to 1993 he managed the venture capital arms for two profit- motivated Ontario Crown Corporations (one a turn-around and the other a start-up). Both were focused on investments whose drivers were intellectual property and customer service.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Industrial Engineering) and a MBA both from the University of Toronto. He also has a CMA designation.

William Houston,

Vice President and General Counsel

Bill Houston joined Energy Advantage in February 2004, bringing with him considerable legal experience to the company as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Formerly a partner at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in Ottawa and Toronto, he specialized in the practice of Energy and Public Utilities Law. In his 30-year legal career, he has acted as special counsel to the Barber Commission on the proposed privatization of Saskatchewan Energy Corporation and represented American gas utilities with respect to NEB export and toll proceedings. Bill has also represented numerous large natural gas and electricity users and Ontario municipalities with respect to the interests of their newly established municipal electric utility companies.

Bill holds degrees in Economics from Queen’s and Cornell Universities, and is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School.

Jeremy Newhook,

Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing & Client Services

Jeremy has enjoyed an extensive career at Energy Advantage which has included leading roles within the Energy Procurement, Finance, Business Services and Sales teams where he applied his communication and relationship management skills to ensure the delivery of optimal service solutions to customers. He is now responsible for the development and execution of Energy Advantage’s North American revenue growth strategies which includes the overall leadership for sales, marketing and business services.

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics from Queen’s University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and Master of Science in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London.

Daniel Regan,

Vice President Business Development, Canada

Dan leads the Energy Advantage Sales and Business Services team and is responsible for all sales with new and existing customers in Canada. His team’s responsibilities include account planning, customer satisfaction and direct management of the Canadian customer relationships across all Energy Advantage business sectors. He brings over 20 years of Business Development, Marketing and Management experience to Energy Advantage. Dan’s previous roles include Founder and President of a food services company, and Sales, Marketing and Management roles in International Professional Service firms.

His education includes studies at McMaster University, and University of Western Ontario in Business and Commerce.

Brian Plumb,

Vice President, Marketing and Strategy

Brian is a highly accomplished marketing executive with over 25 years of experience in senior marketing and sales executive roles for companies such as EDS, SHL Systemhouse, Unisys, iXP Corporation and Teranet. He leads the Energy Advantage Marketing team, which is responsible for establishing the Energy Advantage TEEM brand, promotion of the value proposition and the generation of leads and opportunities in support of the Company’s business growth objectives.

Brian holds undergraduate degrees in economics and business administration respectively from the University of Western Ontario and the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor.

Glen Ferguson,

Senior Vice President, Energy Solutions & Operations

Glen has over 28 years of experience in the North American energy industry and has been with Energy Advantage from the ground up. Through the years Glen has played a part in every aspect of the company. His current executive responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the commercialization of TEEM.

Before Energy Advantage, his career included executive responsibility for energy marketing as Senior Vice President, Sunalta, Energy Marketing Inc., and as Vice President, Eastern Region, Northridge Gas Marketing Inc. Earlier, while working with the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, he participated in intergovernmental negotiations leading to the deregulation of the Canadian natural gas market and was responsible for approving short-term gas exports from the province.

Glen holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Trent University and a Masters in Economics from McMaster University.

Shane Pepin,

Vice President, Sustainability

Shane leads Energy Advantage’s TEEM and Sustainability solution delivery, which includes energy and environmental analytics, solution and delivery architecture, and product development for sustainability solutions. In addition he is a core member of the CIO Program Office responsible for the overall design of Energy Advantage’s informatics architecture and infrastructure.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Commerce from McMaster University and Masters in Environmental Applied Science and Management from Ryerson University.

Yvan Masse,

Vice President, Energy Commodities

Yvan has 30 years of experience in the energy industry and possesses in-depth knowledge of the purchasing and hedging of natural gas, electricity and petroleum products across North America. He leads the Energy Procurement and Risk Management team which is responsible for developing the procurement, hedging and risk management strategies for Energy Advantage's customers. Yvan spent the first 12 years of his career with Gulf Oil Canada, where he held various positions in the marketing, logistics and financial services departments.

Yvan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

Hugo Vargas

Director of Operations

Hugo Vargas

Hugo leads Energy Advantage’s Operations Group, which includes Data Management, Quality Assurance and Financial Services Groups. In addition, Hugo is part of the TEEM solution delivery as an Energy Coach. His professional background includes more than twelve years in the corporate finance and accounting field with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on management accounting processes, financial analysis, project accounting, budgeting and cost control.

Hugo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Nueva Esparta University, Venezuela.

Oscar Bartolini,

Business Development Director México

Oscar has over 25 years of experience in Business Development focused on Marketing, Operation and General Direction. He has more than 6 years experience in Oil Companies, and 16 years in Retail. He has been working the last 3 years in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, Sustainability and Energy Efficiency areas.

Oscar has worked in Companies like: Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Procter & Gamble Venezuela, Grupo Corimón, Mediterranean Bakery, Pepone Le Traiteur, Organización Soriana and Grupo Domos mainly in Business Development and General Management responsibilities. Oscar will spearhead Energy Advantage’s entry since 2010 into the Mexican energy and sustainability market as Latin America Business Development Director.

Oscar has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with emphasis in Marketing from the IESA Business School (IESA) Caracas, Venezuela; an Executive Business Program AD2 for Presidents and General Managers from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE Business Executive School) Monterrey – Mexico; and a Bachelor of Nautical Science from Marine Major Studies School Tenerife, Spain.

Pankaj Gupta,

Vice President, India Operations

Pankaj has over 20 years of experience in Energy and Environmental Management focused on building services and technology. He has a mature and practical understanding of air-conditioning, refrigeration, building automation and cold chain. He has been instrumental in leading the market adoption of energy management systems, including green building principles, in commercial building applications.

Pankaj has worked with Trane (Dubai, U.A.E. and India) and Ingersoll Rand (India) for the past 15 years in various leadership positions. Such positions included Country Manager, Building Automation Systems Division, and, most recently, General Manager, Refrigeration Solutions. In addition, he has worked for Voltas Ltd. In these various capacities Pankaj has won many honors and awards. Pankaj will spearhead Energy Advantage’s entry into the Indian energy market as Vice President, India Operations.

Pankaj has a Masters in Energy and Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), New Delhi; a Bachelor of Engineering from MITS (Jiwaji University), Gwalior; and a Diploma in Marketing Management-- Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Dar Danesh,

Regional Manager, Business Development, Middle East

Dar S. Danesh is a long standing resident of Dubai with a strong presence in the Dubai business community. Since 1994, his local business experience has included establishing the business venture CIL DANSULT in 2003 - a human asset and innovations consulting company and working for executive management firms in the “not-for-profit” industry, such as, the Canadian Business Council, Dubai Terry Fox Run and EquinoxeArabiya.

Dar’s desire for new opportunities, adventure and a sustainable future led him into the energy and environmental marketplace. Along with H. Dan Danesh, they repositioned DANSULT, a professional management and consulting services organization, and joined forces with Energy Advantage Inc., to form a joint-venture partnership and bring energy and environmental management solutions to the Middle East and Africa through - Energy Advantage Middle East. Dar leads Energy Advantage Middle East’s business development efforts and is helping to build the foundation for energy and environmental management services in the region. He brings his keen knowledge of the region, local business relationships, management expertise and strong interpersonal skills to the joint venture.

A graduate in Human Resources Management from Ryerson University in Canada, Dar also holds professional diploma certificates in Workplace Training and Competency Based Assessment, plus is an accredited certified Trainer and certified Associate Co-active Coach.
